Hot on the heels of a Durr Burger manifesting in the wilds of the California desert, five life-size llama pinatas have shown up in various (and precarious) locales around western Europe. So far, two llamas have been found in London, one sticking out of a phone booth and the other being driven around in a fake taxi. Had it been a police box and not a phone booth, we could at least come up with a plausible explanation, but sadly our fanfic will have to wait.
Another llama was found in Barcelona, Spain, enjoying the view from a balcony of the Casa de les Punxes. A fourth was found next to a convenience store in Cologne, Germany, while a fifth waits for a latte in Warsaw, Poland. Please do not cut in front of this very patient pinata.
We've yet to see any reports of someone smashing these things open, and we'd be surprised if there weren't an Epic employee within earshot of each pinata to make sure nothing like that happens. With Season 5 arriving this Thursday, we doubt these llamas and our burger child represent the totality of Epic's globe-trotting ARG. There's a Reddit thread tracking the event for anyone interested in A) Reddit comments or B) wild speculation, but beyond the real-world stuff, all that's been found so far are some in-game map coordinates. Our friends at Storm Shield One have built an anomaly tracker that automatically details each new fissure on the island, so be sure and check it regularly!
