Battle Royale Cabbage Nerf Unintentional, Should Be Resolved in 5.3

PUSH KIMCHI, EPIC

Heartbroken Fortnite Battle Royale players spent today lamenting an apparent cabbage nerf that went through with Tuesday morning's v5.2 update, in what may be our favorite sentence we've ever written in our time as games writers. In v5.1, cabbage was a quick and easy source of building materials, often found in the wide-open farm zones of the Battle Royale map. As of Tuesday morning, however, cabbage harvests have yielded a veritable pittance -- maybe four or five wood per head.

Mourning Fortnite farmers, lift thy solemn brow: Epic just goofed it is all, and cabbages should return to normal by v5.3. "All of the undocumented health changes to various objects in the world (beds, cabbages, etc.) were unintentional," says Epic rep /u/EpicDustyDevo. "If you're curious, they were the result of some work we had to do to make wall health values distinct & tune-able when compared to Save The World. I think everything should be back to normal by the 5.3 build."

So see? Everything'll be fine, y'all. Sometimes people donk it and a cabbage gets weird, but that doesn't always mean that something you love is gone for good. In fact, many cultures regard weird cabbages as a herald of good fortune, or a sign that one's children will grow particularly large that year. Which cultures, you may ask? Well friend, let me tell you about the-- Hey look! A frog wants to give you $100!
